Partners

The Institute for Good Medicine has partnered with the organizations below on health awareness campaigns.

  • Drug Free Pennsylvania—Partnered with Drug Free Pennsylvania to raise awareness of and concern about teen prescription drug misuse and abuse.
  • American Cancer Society, Pennsylvania Division—This partnership started with a campaign to encourage Pennsylvanians to have age-appropriate cancer screenings and continues to grow.
  • American Lung Association—In 2007, when the Institute launched a campaign to encourage flu shots, the ALA provided assistance through its "Faces of Influenza" campaign.

The campaigns included radio advertisements, editor mailings, media interviews and guest appearances along with online promotions and communications with members of the Pennsylvania Medical Society.

Organ Donations
Less than half of Pennsylvanians have indicated on their driver’s licenses that they are organ donors.
