Workers' Compensation Fees Increased for 2012

The 2012 workers’ compensation fees are 3.5 percent higher than 2011 rates.

The 2012 Part B fee schedule is now available on the Bureau of Workers' Compensation website. Fees for workers' compensation Part B services performed on or after Jan. 1, 2012, are calculated and paid using this schedule.

Since workers’ compensation reform was passed in 1994, fees have increased approximately 195 percent thanks to a formula negotiated by the Pennsylvania Medical Society.

The Bureau of Workers’ Compensation also offers online tutorials to help providers complete the LIBC-507, the application for fee review service, and the LIBC-9, the medical report form. Fee review is the process that providers must follow when they have been either paid untimely or improperly.
