Video: Physician Impact on Property Tax Reform

A continuing issue in the state General Assembly is property tax reform that allows a school district to implement an additional earned income tax, mercantile tax or business privilege tax with the additional revenues used solely for the reduction or elimination of school district property taxes.

The Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) has no policy position on property tax reform. However, PAMED Legislative Counsel Scot Chadwick explains why some of these proposed reforms could negatively impact physician practices.
