PAMPAC recently announced its physician-approved, PAMPAC-supported, bipartisan slate of endorsed judicial candidates.
After an extensive interview process with physician and Pennsylvania Medical Society Alliance leaders from across Pennsylvania, the PAMPAC Board unanimously endorsed these highly qualified judicial candidates:
Supreme Court
Anne Covey (R)
Judy Olson (R)
David Wecht (D)
Superior Court
Emil Giordano (R)
Commonwealth Court
Michael Wojcik (D)
From medical liability to venue protection issues, judges have a tremendous impact on physicians across the commonwealth. These endorsed candidates have an appreciation for the challenges that physicians encounter on a daily basis in their practices and understand the critical role of physicians in caring for patients throughout Pennsylvania.
This year voters in Pennsylvania will fill three vacancies on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and one vacancy on the Superior and Commonwealth Court respectively. The election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015. For more information on registering to vote please visit www.votespa.com.
Beyond voting, one physician really can make a difference in the world of local, state, or federal politics through advocacy. If you are you interested in learning more about campaigns and political advocacy, PAMPAC is hosting a Next Level Advocacy Seminar on Saturday, Nov. 21 in Pittsburgh. This half-day seminar will feature nationally known advocacy speaker Stephanie Vance. Learn more and register at www.pampac.org. |
